DESCRIPTION: QA MANAGER - Food Diversified food ingredient manufacturer seeks a talented QA Manager to manage the quality function in one of their manufacturing facilities located in the Chicago area. This position will be responsible for leading quality improvements and initiatives, HACCP and food safety programs and manage daily activities within the lab. You will also be responsible for quality related training programs, customer and vendor relationships, ensure budget goals are met and employee development. The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related science field. Must be a team leader with proven supervisory and computer skills. Experience working with confections and cereal products is a plus! Great company with lots of room to grow! Company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
