DESCRIPTION: Successful Westchester tutoring agency seeks a fun, enthusiastic, and intelligent individual for private tutoring at clients' homes. We higher the best, as our pay scale reflects. We pay better than most of our competition, and certainly better than the larger companies. In fact, on an hourly basis, we pay better than public school teachers! Required: * B.A., B.S. or higher degree in math or science related field * Fun, engaging attitude (70% of private tutoring is personality!) * Mastery of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus and calculus * Knowledge of physics, chemistry, and/or biology * Teaching/tutoring experience Recommended: * Familiarity with regents curricula in Math Courses I, II, III, A, and B; Chemistry; Biology; Physics; SAT I; SAT II in Math, Physics, Chemistry or Biology * Teaching certification | |
