DESCRIPTION: URBIS is an independent award winning planning, urban design, environment and landscape consultancy which was established in Hong Kong in 1977. Since its inception the company has undertaken over 1,000 large and small scale planning, urban design and landscape projects. These have provided a vehicle for the exploration and understanding of the problems, development constraints and opportunities pertaining to Hong Kong and other parts of South East Asia. Working experience amongst its directorate and professional staff has been gained in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, the People¿s Republic of China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tuvalu, the United Kingdom, France, the USA and Russia. URBIS staff comprises highly qualified and experienced individuals from a number of South East Asian countries and from Europe.
