The Group's main businesses are in pulp & paper, oil palm as well as engineering, construction and infrastructure. Founded in the 1970s, RGM International is now one of the leading industrial groups in the Asia Pacific region with assets in excess of US$6 billion and a skilled workforce of over 56,000. The Group now owns and operates the world's largest pulp mill, Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (Riaupulp) in Sumatra with a combined capacity of 2 million tons per annum;office paper and stationery capacity of 400,000 tons per annum; rayon and other specialty fibers of 120,000 tons per annum; and palm oil plantations totaling over 200,000 hectares. It is also the major shareholder in the Adaro mine in Kalimantan with production capacity of 20 million tons per annum. | |
