DESCRIPTION: A man supported through Nabors is looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and trustworthy support people. He has been labelled with a disability and as such, faces many barriers in society. Your job would be to support him to overcome these barriers and to help him create opportunities for himself in typical society. This would involve helping him to contribute his gifts to his local community. This may be done through supporting him to develop relationships, find employment and attain other valued roles. Besides being a hard worker with strong values, it is an asset if you are involved in the arts and enjoy the outdoors. No formal experience is necessary as he is looking for people who are not trained to be with people with disabilities, but are great at connecting with community..
